DMCA Policy For SmartsBeacon!

DMCA Policy For SmartsBeacon!

This is our funny-but-serious DMCA Policy. We love words and learning, but copyright law? Not so much fun (mostly).

What is DMCA?

DMCA stands for the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. In simple terms, it says: “Hey, don’t use other people’s work without permission!” It protects creators from having their hard work shared without approval.

Our Promise

We respect all creators and their content—articles, definitions, guides, lists, and everything else. If someone shares something that doesn’t belong to them on SmartsBeacon, we’ll review it faster than you can say “grammar!”

Before You Send a Complaint

Take a moment. Are you 100% sure it’s your content? Sometimes similar content exists naturally. Check twice, complain once.

How to Send a DMCA Notice

If you’re certain your copyrighted work is being used without permission, please send us:

  • Your real name (no secret superhero aliases, please).
  • A link to your original work.
  • A link to the content on our site that you claim infringes.
  • A brief statement saying you own the rights and want it removed.
  • Your signature (typing your name works!).

Send it to: zohanmatthe@gmail.com

What We’ll Do

We’ll review your claim, and if it’s valid, we’ll remove the content. If it’s not, we might chuckle a little—and then move on.

Updates to This Policy

We may update this page from time to time. If we do, it’ll be posted right here, so keep checking if you love DMCA drama.
